Star Fox (Switch 2) Bosses Guide

Every mission in Star Fox on Switch 2 ends with a boss. Learn the patterns and you stop trading hits and start scoring fast — which feeds your medals. Master the barrel roll first; deflecting laser volleys trivializes several fights.

Key bosses and how to beat them

Corneria boss (the walker)

Dodge the arm cannons, then hit the cockpit/weak point when it opens. Barrel roll the laser spread.

All-range space bosses (Sector Y / Bolse)

Watch the radar, bait head-on passes, and target the glowing weak points as they expose. Charged lock-on shots clear turrets fast.

Aquas boss (Blue-Marine)

The underwater boss in the submarine stage — fire torpedoes when it opens up; dodge its projectiles in 3D.

Macbeth boss (the train)

Don't dogfight it. Hit the eight rail locks and the final switch to derail the train — that's the clean kill and it opens the Area 6 route toward the true ending.

Star Wolf

Wolf O'Donnell's crew. Rules that always apply:

• Never fly straight — they lock instantly.
• Boost to chase, brake to drop onto a tail.
• Kill them one at a time; focus whoever's on a wingmate.
• Barrel roll constantly and somersault to reverse.

Andross — face form (standard ending, Venom)

Destroy both hands, then shoot the eyes when they glow. Finish the mouth phase to roll credits.

Andross — true form (Venom 2 true ending)

After the face falls he reveals his real form — a giant brain with two floating eyes. Destroy both eyes, then survive the escape tunnel by following Peppy — fly toward his lead and don't crash.

General boss tips

• Charged shots hit weak points far harder than rapid fire.
• Keep wingmates alive — they distract bosses and call openings.
• Use Joy-Con 2 mouse aiming for precise weak-point shots — see controls.
• Struggling? Practice patterns in Challenge Mode, then take the true-ending path.
